PURPOSE: A ladle drying apparatus for preventing spalling of refractory materials is provided which slantly mounts a plurality of burners on a ladle cover, reflects a flame from the burners into the side of the refractory materials, and forms a hot blast vortex having a high temperature in the ladle so as to uniformly dry the refractory materials. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for preventing spalling by consisting of burners(10) for drying refractory walls inside a ladle(100), a ladle cover(20), and a hoisting(140) for ascending or descending the burners(10) and the ladle cover(20), the ladle drying apparatus(1) for preventing spalling of the refractory walls is characterized in that a plurality of burners(10) are mounted on the ladle cover(20), the burners(10) slantly eject a flame toward the inner central side of the ladle(100), a hot blast reflector(30) having a triangle sectional cone part(32) and a straight line part(35) is mounted on the center of the lower surface of the ladle cover(20) so that the flame from the burners(10) is reflected to the side of the refractory walls.
