PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional massage machine that the protruding quantity of a massage ball cannot be largely changed. SOLUTION: In this massage machine having a massage unit liftably arranged along the seat back of a chair, a massage ball drive unit formed of a patting mechanism for performing a patting operation by longitudinally rocking the massage ball and a massage mechanism for performing a massage operation by eccentrically rotating the massage ball is arranged in such a manner as to be protrudable to and retreatable from the seat back of the chair.
