PURPOSE: A device for lowering product temperature of calcium oxide in a rotary kiln is provided to lower product temperature of calcium oxide by restraining radiation heat generated from burner flame during manufacturing of calcium oxide in the rotary kiln from being transferred into a burner room and a cooler. CONSTITUTION: The device for lowering product temperature of calcium oxide in a rotary kiln comprises a radiation plate(60) which is slantly installed in an inclined angle of 0 to 40 degrees starting from a direction perpendicular to the burner frame on the outer circumferential part of a burner frame(62) in which the rotary kiln and the burner room are alternated to suppress transfer of radiation heat between a rotating rotary kiln and a burner room, wherein the radiation plate(60) forms a disk type external shape having a certain diameter in such a way that the radiation plate is spaced apart from the inner circumferential surface of the rotary kiln in a certain distance, a central hole(64) and vent holes are formed on a body(62) of the radiation plate(60) so that the central hole(64) is inserted and fixed onto the burner frame, and air is smoothly flown through the vent holes, the body(62) of the radiation plate(60) is made of a 316 stainless steel plate to resist an internal temperature of the rotary kiln due to flame radiation and pressure for velocity of cooling air flown into the rotary kiln from a cooler, and a plurality of the vent holes are arranged on a circumference distanced from the center of the inner part of the body(62) in a certain distance with the vent holes being spaced apart from each other in an equal distance and equipped with a stainless steel net(68) having the same material as the body at the inside of the vent holes to reduce resistance against flow of cooling air flown into from the lower part.
