PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor an oxygen inhalation state when a patient requiring the inhalation of oxygen inhales a proper amount of oxygen on a medical site. SOLUTION: A medical gas flowmeter is equipped with the flow rate sensor 1 arranged in a gas flow channel F to measure the flow rate of medical gas passing through the gas flow channel F from a gas supply source 33 toward a mask M, a sensor signal input means 3a for processing the sensor output inputted from the flow rate sensor to output a predetermined electric signal, a supply time measuring means 23 for measuring the supply time of the medical gas to the patient accompanied by the signal output from the sensor signal input means 3a, a supply judge means 23b for judging the completion of supply on the basis of the judgment of the supply of gas for a definite time and a control means 31a operating a gas supply cut-off valve on the basis of the judge result due to the supply judge means 23b.
