PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition soluble in a weak solvent comprising an aliphatic hydrocarbon as a main component, and its cured product is excellent in flexibility, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, or the like, enabling it to be applied to a coating material, adhesive material, or the like. SOLUTION: This epoxy resin composition is characterized by containing as an essential component an epoxy resin which is prepared by mixing a multivalent aromatic epoxy resin having a 4-18C aliphatic hydrocarbon substituent to its aromatic ring and a flexible aliphatic epoxy resin.
