PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air pump which uses a direct current linear motor to efficiently operate a pump mechanism, without using a rotary mechanism. SOLUTION: This air pump is formed of an operating shaft 24 possible to be moved in the axial direction of a fixed coil 23, a magnet 25 fixed to the operating shaft 24, diaphragms 27 and 28 provided at both ends of the magnet 25 in the axial direction of the operating shaft 24 and connected to the operating shaft 24, and air valves 31 and 32 which is opened and closed exclusively in accompaniment to the movement of the magnet 25 and the diaphragms 27 and 28. |
