PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning member in which a discharge wire is very easily and inexpensively cleaned and by which the cutting of the discharge wire and the occurrence of abnormal discharge are eliminated and a discharge device and an image forming device provided with the cleaning member. SOLUTION: The discharge device having the discharge wire, the cleaning member of the discharge device having the discharge wire and the image forming device are provided. The discharge device 3 is provided with the cleaning member 30 having a cleaning tool coming into press-contact with the discharge wire 3b and a part to be released which is released from press-contact with the discharge wire, and the cleaning member is slid along the discharge wire, and the press-contact of the cleaning tool with the discharge wire is released by the part to be released at least at a cleaning stand-by position.
