PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate overcharged state, when a battery turns into overcharged state and to enhance safety, when a battery case is damaged by external force. SOLUTION: This secondary battery device has a protective device for a secondary battery 10 formed by housing a power generation device in a battery case 11. The protecting device is equipped with a microswitch 14, operating when the battery case 11 is deformed to a degree exceeding the specified shape and a discharge resistor 15 for discharging electric energy connected to the secondary battery 10, when deformation of the battery case 11 is detected with the microswitch 14. By fusing a temperature fuse 17 by heat generated in the discharge resistor 15, the secondary battery 10 is separated from a charging circuit 18.
