PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for melting processing on an incineration residue capable of preventing a furnace wall refractory material from being corroded and stably continuing an operation of a melting furnace although the incineration residue containing salts is melted and its melting furnace. SOLUTION: A gas in the melting furnace 10 is extracted outside, a dust collection is performed by a centrifugal separator 23, the gas after the dust is collected is circulated by returning it to the melting furnace 10 and while repeating the dust collection in a furnace gas, the incineration residue is injected into the melting furnace 10 and is melted there and an exhaust gas discharged from the melting furnace is introduced into exhaust gas treating equipment.
