PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat shrinkable polyethylene terephthalate tube having a utility value of a general purpose electrical insulation material, a heater- coating material or the like having small embrittlement of the tube before an electronic component is covered with the polyethylene terephthalate tube, excellent shrinkage characteristic and openability, and excellent heat resistance when the electronic component is left to stand for a long time at a high temperature after the component is covered with the tube. SOLUTION: The heat shrinkable polyethylene terephthalate tube comprises a resin composition mainly containing a thermoplastic resin (component A) which contains (A) a polyethylene terephthalate resin of 70 wt.% or more containing a diethylene glycol component of 0.8 to 20.0 mol% and having a crystallinity of the tube of 0.5 to less than 4%. |
