PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat elevating device, with which the cleaning performance of a toilet bowl or toilet floor is not lowered. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a toilet seat holding board, an elevation guide having a supporting arm for supporting the toilet seat holding board and a guide rail, to which the supporting arm is vertical-movably engaged, and a device for driving the supporting arm of the elevation guide located on the rear part of the toilet bowl, and the supporting arm driving device is installed inside a tank tightly connected to the toilet bowl.
