PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining device and, machining equipment for a long thin profile capable of machining an arbitrary shape in the side of a long thin profile, where sectional shapes are constant or the same sectional shapes are available in spots at intervals in the direction of length, in a short time with high efficiency without a jig for an exclusive use or any tool for exclusive use. SOLUTION: A long thin profile 1 is formed that a sectional shape is constant or the same sectional shapes are available is spots at intervals in the direction of length, and a long thin profile clamping device 10 is provided to horizontally hold the long thin profile 1 in two spots where sectional shapes are the same as each other. The long thin profile clamping device 10 consists of a drive clamping device A and a driven clamping device 10B having nipping devices 12 being the same as each other. The drive clamping device rotationally drive around a horizontal axis O, extending in the direction of the length of a long thin profile, and the drive clamping device is raced following the long thin profile around the horizontal axis.
