PURPOSE: A method of displaying anniversaries in a mobile communication terminal is provided to enable a service informing a user of the number of residual dates or passing dates until an anniversary from a present day, regardless of the solar and the lunar calendar, thereby supplying more convenient service to users who use the lunar calendar. CONSTITUTION: When a user selects an anniversary count up/down mode, a controller decides whether data corresponding to an anniversary exists(S1) in a memory. If not, the controller displays an anniversary input screen to the user(S2). When the user inputs a specific anniversary, the controller displays the anniversary to the user(S3). The controller decides whether the anniversary follows a lunar calendar or a solar calendar(S4). If the anniversary follows the solar calendar, the controller compares whether the anniversary exceeds a present date(S5). If so, the controller informs the user of the number of residual dates until the anniversary from the present date(S6).
