SUBSTANCE: method is intended for use in local computer networks that have workstations, one of them being main workstation, and remote workstations; main workstation allocates separate computing processes of task to be solved among remote workstations; method includes determination of optimal number of data processing operations concurrently executed at workstations. Separate computing processes are allocated among remote workstations at minimal loading as concerns processor time taken for task execution; optimal number of concurrently executed processes (Xopt) is determined at main workstation according to predetermined conditions.
