PURPOSE: A plasma display panel inspection apparatus and method is provided to reduce volume of a PDP inspection apparatus and reduce cost, while shortening inspection time and improving inspection efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A PDP inspection apparatus comprises color filter module units(31,33,35) disposed on plasma display panels moving along the inspection line of an inspection table, and which have R-color filters(311,331,351), G-color filters(313,333,353) and B-color filters(315,335,355) and blank filters(317,337,357); a motor unit(20) for rotating color filter module units; black/white line scan camera units(51,53,55) arranged above color filter module units, respectively, and which photograph plasma display panels disposed beneath each color filter module unit and transmit the corresponding image; and a control unit for performing plasma display panel inspection by controlling operation of the motor unit, color filter module units and black/white line scan camera units, and processing images transmitted from the black/white line scan camera units. |
