<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device capable of confirming right or wrong of input from an operation confirmation sound pattern, in a case requiring a user to input a password or a number, for example password input to a terminal device of ATM and making it impossible to estimate the password from the operation confirmation sound. SOLUTION: The user selects an optical sound as the operation confirmation sound for a computer system, such as ATM which the user is to use and the computer system performs mapping of operation confirmation sound patterns and the user password (or the number of bank account). The computer system outputs the operation conformation sound pattern which the user selected only when the user correctly inputs the password. Also, the user stores operation confirmation sound information in IC card to be used in the computer system, the operation confirmation sound is outputted according to mapping information read from the IC card, when the IC card is used for in the computer system.</p> |
