PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro-array manufacturing apparatus capable of simultaneously performing work for forming a spot and work for cleaning and drying a head for manufacturing a micro-array so that the micro-array can be manufactured efficiently. SOLUTION: This micro-array manufacturing apparatus is provided with a solution storing part 74 for storing a solution containing organismic sample, a work bed 4 allowing a plurality of substrates 3 to be arrayed, a head 51 for taking in a solution from the solution storing part 74 and holding it, and forming a spot of solution on the substrate 3, and cleaning carry-out parts 71, 72, 73 for cleaning the head 51. An XY 2-axis transport mechanism 6 in a stamping area transports the head 51 onto the work bed to form a spot on the substrate. An XY two-axis transport mechanism 75 in a cleaning area transports the head 51 onto the cleaning carry-out parts 71, 72, 73. The head 51 is delivered between the XY 2-axis transport mechanism 6 in the stamping area and the WY two-axis transport mechanism 75.
