PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide powder coating composition having characteristics of conventional powder coating and capable of obtaining coating film with a metallic feeling improved in brightness by solving the problems in which scaly structure is crushed and it is difficult to obtain whiteness when the composition is melted and kneaded by using aluminum flakes having large surface area, and orientation of aluminium flakes is bad, compared with a solvent type metallic coating in the case of powder coating obtained by the conventional method. SOLUTION: This powder coating composition is characterized by comprising glass flakes having 5-100μm average particle diameter or glass flakes having 5-100μm average particle diameter and scaly pigment. Further, the powder coating composition comprises glass flakes having 5-100μm average particle diameter in an amount of 0.1-10 wt.% based on solid content of coating.
