PURPOSE: A snow chain by using a motor is provided to travel safely on the snowy road by mounting and separating a wire chain from the tread of a tire automatically with a wireless remote controller without stopping during traveling. CONSTITUTION: A snow chain is composed of long and short guide members(2,3) fixing a wire chain(1) in the tread of a tire; a fixing plate(9) supporting guide members; a body(8) having a motor(11), a battery(13) and a wireless signal receiving unit(12) around a rotating shaft of the tire; a spring(5) arranged radially around the rotating shaft; a link(6) connecting the spring and long and short guide members; and a cover(20) protecting against snow. Traveling is performed safely on the snowy road, and breakage of the road is prevented with automatically mounting and separating the wire chain from the tread of the tire by using the motor.
