PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert contents of electronic mail into a data form corresponding to the capability of an electronic mail reception terminal, transfer the converted mail to the terminal and inform other terminal about the result of conversion. SOLUTION: A net database 400 stores information including; information denoting transfer destinations of received electronic mail (fax, Web or a mobile terminal or the like) by each user; and user information including information denoting a notice destination (mobile terminal) indicating fact of transfer of electronic mail. A site 1 including a decision module 200 and a conversion module 300 uses functions of its site only or cooperates with sites 2, 3, 4 to convert the received electronic mail into a data form adopted to a transfer destination designated by the user information and to transfer the converted data to a mail server 100, a Web server 600 and a fax server 650 corresponding to the designated transfer destination. Further, in transferring the electronic mail via the Web server 600 or the fax server 650, the site 1 informs the mobile terminal via the mail server 100 about a notice text denoting it.
