PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine rubber molded body excellent in balance among non- cohesiveness, a low wear coefficient, low gas releasing property while keeping properties, such as compression set, rubber elasticity, mechanical strength and deformation followingness which are characteristic to the rubber material. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a surface-modified rubber molded body is carried out as follows: a fluorine rubber basic material (a) comprising a functional group-containing heat cured resin obtained by curing a heat-curing resin and a fluorine rubber, and a treating liquid (b) are brought into contact with each other: the treating liquid (b) comprises a reactive monomer (b-i) containing a functional group able to react with the reactive functional group in the functional group-containing heat cured resin, and a reaction initiator (b-ii) initiating the reaction of the heat cured resin with the monomer; the contact treated fluorine rubber basic material obtained in the above process is heated to polymerize the monomer and at the same time to make the monomer react with the heat-cured resin; and thus, the surface of the basic material and its vicinity are modified. A surface-modified rubber molded body obtained in the method. |
