PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce feeling of pressure to a person to be rescued by reducing the weight of a head cover while securing structural strength and to fold and house the head cover compactly when it is not used. SOLUTION: The head cover 10 to be provided at a stretcher 1 is provided with a pair of brackets 23, a pair of turnable frames 22A, 22B, a cover main body 21 and a fastening belt 24. The respective brackets 23 are provided on both of the right and left sides of the head Mh. The respective frames 22A and 22B are formed like arches of metal wires, and two open ends are supported turnably the respective brackets 23. The frames 22A and 22B are switched and arranged freely at a standing position over the head Mh and the laying position in front of the head Mh. The cover main body 21 consists of a plurality of plate pieces 21a to cover the head Mh. In order to cover the head Mh with the cover main body 21, the cover main body 21 is wound on both of the frames 22A and 22B arranged at the standing position and fastened with the belt 24.
