PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a portable terminal machine mounted with a contactless IC card function having an R/W function from illegally being used by a 3rd person when lost or stolen. SOLUTION: A user previously registers a password code corresponding to a card or service in the portable terminal machine 100 mounted with a contactless IC card part 20 and inputs a password code prior to the use of the IC card function. The IC card function is normally placed in an unusable state, which is reset for a specific time only when the input password code and registered password code match each other.
