<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry two-component, dry nonmagnetic one-component or dry magnetic one-component toner excellent in fixability, light transmittance and sharpness, particularly transferability in copied images of an electrostatic image developing type copying machine and a printer. SOLUTION: The electrostatic image developing toner consists essentially of a bonding resin comprising a polyolefin resin containing at least a cyclic structural unit, a colorant and a charge controlling agent. In the molecular weight measurement of the polyolefin resin by GPC(gel permeation chromatography), the number average molecular weight (Mn) is in the range of 2,000-5,000, the weight average molecular weight (Mw) is in the range of 4,000-50,000 and the Mw to Mn ratio is in the range of 1.5-2.5. The polyolefin resin content of the bonding resin is >=50 wt.%.</p> |
