PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric for thermo-formed article which contributes to energy saving without requiring preliminary adhesive treatment heating prior to thermoforming of a nonwoven fabric for thermo-formed article.SOLUTION: There is provided a nonwoven fabric for thermo-formed article excellent in sound absorbency and sound insulation performance and suitable for a vehicular member for which weight saving is required. A nonwoven fabric for thermo-formed article (10) is made of a skeleton fiber (8) formed of a high-melting point short fiber that does not melt at a thermoforming temperature and an adhesive fiber (9) formed of a low-melting point short fiber that melts at the thermoforming temperature. The adhesive fiber (9) is dispersed in the nonwoven fabric substantially evenly. The skeleton fiber (8) is formed with short fiber such as PET as well as the adhesive fiber (9) is formed with undrawn short fiber such as undrawn PP short fiber and a dry heat shrinkage ratio of the nonwoven fabric for thermo-formed article is set to be 3% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
