PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretcher which is used to a wounded person with the person sit safely and without much labor in an emergency and is foldable to be compact when it is not used to solve the problem that it is inconvenient to carry a wounded person with a conventional stretcher through a narrow entrance or a narrow passageway of stairs or get in a small elevator with the stretcher because the conventional stretcher is made of bars or a plate. SOLUTION: In the simple stretcher 1, grips 2 are attached on four corners of a rectangular cloth, shoulder carrier ropes 3, 4 are attached on both right and left sides of the cloth and the ropes 3, 4 cross the center part of the stretcher lengthwise to be fixed and go round so that the tops and bottoms are respectively connected, and a bag 5 is provided to house the stretcher when the stretcher is folded.
