PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel 3,7-disubstituted indole derivative that is useful as a medicine, particularly having theβ-adrenoreceptor stimulation action and a medicinal composition including the same. SOLUTION: The medicine is a 3,7-disubstituted indole derivative represented by the following formula [I] (wherein X is O, NH or S; Y is O, S or the like; R<1> is hydroxy, a lower alkoxy-carbonyl, a mono- or dialkylaminocarbonyl, carboxyl; R<2> and R<3> are each H, a lower alkyl; R<4> is H, phenyl, a heteroaryl or the like; R<5> is H, a halogen, hydroxy or the like; R<6> is H, a halogen, hydroxy, amino or the like; m is 0, 1 or 2; n is 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5; wherein R<4> is not H, when Y is O or SO2 ).
