PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a negative pressure pump quiet. SOLUTION: An automatic hemanalysis instrument is provided with a hemanalysis section composed of a container which holds a blood sample and a detector which analyzes the blood sample held in the container for blood- constituents, a waste solution chamber which holds an analytical waste solution composed of blood, an analytical reagent, a diluting solution, etc., and the negative pressure pump which causes the waste solution chamber to suck the analytical waste solution from at least one of the container and detector by impressing a negative pressure upon the chamber. The negative pressure pump is provided with an air pump having a suction port and a discharge port, a hermetically sealing cover which has first and second through ports and covers the air pump, and an intake tube connected to the suction port of the pump from the outside of the cover through the first through port of the cover. The pump is also provided with an exhaust tube for muffling which is connected to the second through port of the cover and extended to the outside. |
