PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for managing the expiration date of a program capable of facilitating countermeasures by flexibly changing a starting method according to the significance of a customer who uses a program by solving the problem that the unitary management of the use of a program with the expiration date with respect to a plurality of customers probably gives any unpleasant feeling to a significant customer. SOLUTION: This system for managing the expiration date of a program is provided with a rank judging means for judging a rank preliminarily specified for a user, an expiration date confirming means for judging whether or not the use input time of the user is within the expiration date of the program applied to the user, a starting means for starting an application program when the judged result of the expiration date confirming means is positive, and a program start limit control means for selectively starting one of those starting methods according to the rank preliminarily specified for the user when the judged result of the expiration date confirming means is negative. |
