PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scramble method and a descramble method to restrict the digital copy. SOLUTION: A video data recording area 99A and a key signal recording area 99B are formed on a track of a magnetic tape 99. On the video data recording area 99A, digital video data scrambled in accordance with the key signal are recorded. Also, the key signal used for the scramble is recorded on the key signal recording area 99B. On the video data recording area 99A and the key signal recording area 99B, sync data or ID data necessary for respectively reproducing these areas are recorded. The video data recording area 99A is distinctly partitioned from the key signal recording area 99B by an interlock gap, etc. |
