PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive roll with its sponge sharp in cell diameter distribution and low in hardness dispersion, with formation suppressed of a high resistance oxide layer on the roll surface, and capable of producing quality images thanks to low resistance variation after continuous energization. SOLUTION: The conductive foam rubber composition, containing 2-10 pts.wt. of 4,4'-oxybis (benzenesulfonile hydrazide), 3-7 pts.wt. of an age resistor, and 3-7 pts.wt. of hydrotalcite, these relative to 100 pts.wt. of an epichlorohydrine rubber, is formed into a size fit to accommodate the core metal, and vulcanized. The conductive roll has a Share E hardness falling between 20 or more and 50 or less and a cell diameter falling between 100μm or less and 10μm or more. |
