<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring and piping protector that is usable, even when building structural members, such as furring strips, gatepost, and the like, through which a wiring or a pipe is passed, are made of light-weight steel or metal, and that enables a work to be performed at a construction site by quiet screwing work without emitting noise. SOLUTION: This protector is provided with a protective pipe unit 2, in which a slit 4 is provided in such a way that it can be opened and closed at a part of its circumferential direction, over the entire length in its axial direction and that is fitted to the outside of a wiring or a pipe 21, and with threads 3 being provided in spriral shape on the outside surface of the protector pipe unit 2. When the protector pipe unit 2 is screwed into a passage hole 22 in the building structure members, such as furring strips, gatepost, and the like, the hole edge 2a of the passing hole 22 is locked in between the threads 3, 3 so that the wiring and piping protector 1 is locked and fixed to the passage hole 22.</p> |
