PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laptop computer fitted with a keyboard having a draining means capable of preventing liquid or foreign matter from entering the computer body by causing liquid or foreign matter flowing in the keyboard to be discharged out of the body. SOLUTION: A keyboard assembly for the laptop computer includes a baseplate 40, a plurality of key buttons 42 mounted in the baseplate 40, and a draining means 44 for draining liquid permeating between the key buttons 42.
