PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent clean propylene polymer without causing trouble such as a hue of a molded product, smoking during processing, opening properties and yarn breakage during formation of fibers because of low contents of aluminum (Al) and halogens and further a low content of 12-30C oligomers in addition to the contents of Al and halogens and suitable for uses such as fibrous formed products, films or injection molded products. SOLUTION: This propylene polymer is obtained by polymerization using a metallocene catalyst and has <=10 wt.ppm content of the Al in the polymer.
