PURPOSE: A loading compartment cover unit of a dump truck is provided to smoothly operate the loading compartment cover unit by rotational angular movement of a bracket, and minimize maintenance cost by partially assembling parts. CONSTITUTION: A rear cover(20) installed to a rear hinge door(2) is operated the moment a unfolding arm, assembled to a join block(6) welded to a cover-driving shaft(4) by right and reverse rotation of the cover-driving shaft connected to a driving shaft of a reduction motor(3), is operated. The driving shaft of the reduction motor and the cover-driving shaft are connected to a spline coupling(5). A bushing bracket base(15) forming bolt holes is welded to the loading compartment-side plate. A first unfolding arm hinge(6b) is formed to the upper part of the middle part of the joint block and a second unfolding arm hinging(6c) is formed to the lower part, as one body. A first unfolding arm hinge slider(10) with a spring hook holder is installed to a first unfolding arm(7) forming hinge shaft holes. A second unfolding arm(8) is hinge-coupled to the second unfolding arm hinge. A second unfolding arm slider(11) with a spring hook holder is installed to the second unfolding arm. An upper ring winding around a winding portion of a torsion spring(12) is placed to each spring hook holder of the first and second unfolding arm sliders, and the lower ring is placed to spring fixing plates(13) fixed to the right and left sides of a loading compartment(1).
