PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend life and to improve on work quality of a chamfering grinder by increasing wear resistance and strength in the vicinity of the mounting hole at the center of a base metal made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy. SOLUTION: The grinder 10 comprises a disk-shape aluminum alloy base 1 and a grinding grain layer 2 fixed along the outer circumference of the base 1. A conductive adhesive agent is used for bonding the layer 2 to the outer circumference of the base 1. The inner circumferential walls of a grinder mounting hole 11 formed at the center of the base 1 are anodized for the formation of approximately 20μm thick anodic oxide coatings 12a, 12b, and this improves on the inner walls of the hole 11 in strength and wear resistance.
