PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber coupler which is highly protective while suppressing fluctuation of polarization characteristics. SOLUTION: The optical fiber coupler is characterized by the adhesives consisting of a spot-shaped first adhesive that partly covers the branching part of the coupler and a second adhesive that covers the first adhesive while being filled in a case; the second adhesive is composed of a material softer than that of the first adhesive.
