FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and surgery. After a longitudinal abdominal incision in a projection of a laparotomic incision a drain tube is being laid. Strand of a greater omentum is being cut. Sections of the omentum fixed on the right and on the left in the upper floor of the abdominal cavity to the small omentum. Ligature is delivered through the edge of the omentum strand. Behind the drain tube the second edge of the omentum strand is underrun and the ligature is output at the opposite side. Ligature is also output via the edges of the abdominal incision. Ligature is tied in a bow without tensioning with length inturns above the abdominal skin.EFFECT: method provides prevention of postoperative bedsores of small gut wall, intestinal fistulas in peritonitis during postoperative drainage of the abdominal cavity accompanying extensive peritonitis.1 cl, 2 dwg, 2 ex
