PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for connecting a pipe by which connecting work can be finished in a short time, in addition to excellent operability. SOLUTION: Connection for piping and a fitting can be carried out by mounting a movable liner 4 and a locking liner 5 being projected downward from a head 2 to the head 2 in the tip end of a locking handle 1, and also by driving a ratchet mechanism as a power-boosting device by a movable handle 3 pivoted on one side in the head 2 so as to make a pair with the locking handle 1, and also by pressurizing connecting pressure by driving a rack pinion mechanism 8 as the power-boosting device being interlocked with the ratchet mechanism 7, by sliding an output slider 9 with the pressurized power, and by parallelly moving the movable liner 4 mounted on the output slider 9 to the locking liner 5 mounted on the head 2.
