PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual feed apparatus which has no backlash between its components and, accordingly hardly produces chipping of cutting edges of a drill when the manual feed apparatus is used for feed of a drilling unit. SOLUTION: The manual feed apparatus is provided with a feed nut 52 supported by a fixed base 51 so as not to axially move but to rotate about its axis, a feed screw 53 screwed into the feed nut 52 and integrated with a body 1 to be fed, a driven gear 56 fixed onto an outer periphery of the feed nut 52 so as to be concentric with the feed nut 52, a driving gear 55 engaged with the driven gear 56, a driving shaft 54 which penetrates the central portion of the driving gear 55 and rotates together with the driving gear 55, and a feed handle 57 for turning the driving shaft 54.
