PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stable crystalline (6S)-tetrahydrofolic acid. SOLUTION: The stable crystalline (6S)-tetrahydrofolic acid, methods for using the same and for producing the same are provided in the specification, respectively. The highly purified crystalline (6S)-tetrahydrofolic acid has extremely high stability, is stable to air and a raised temperature, and therefore is completely inactive even when stabilizer is not added thereto, although conventional tetrahydrofolic acid is extremely sensitive to oxidation. The method for producing the crystalline (6S)-tetrahydrofolic acid comprises conducting crystallization treatment in a condition of a pH-value of≥3.5. The method is extremely productive.
