PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke-drying treatment method apparatus which can be executed at a low cost and can improve a quality by heating and drying at a uniform temperature many logs piled up vertically. SOLUTION: A combustion room 1 and a drying room 2 are disposed in an array in a left to right direction by putting a partition 3 between them. A smoke passage 31 is formed to a lower part of the partition 3 to enable smoke and heat which are generated in the combustion room 1 to be introduced to a lower part of the drying room 2. In the drying room 2, a parting plate 22 is disposed so as to divide the drying room 2 into two parts vertically, and a second smoke passage 24 and a log storing room 24 are respectively arranged in the lower part and in the upper part. A plurality of smokestacks 27 wherein at least one smokestack is protruded outside from the drying room 2 through inside the combustion room 1 are arranged to an upper part of the log storing room 25, and the smoke and the heat which ascend from the second smoke passage 24 to be convected in the log storing room 25, are exhausted from the smokestack 27.
