PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fixing performance and to reduce the size of a printer. Ultraviolet light emitted from each fluorescent lamp 11 represents a high luminance over a wide range in a sub-scanning direction on a thermal coloring layer shown in a characteristic curve A.
