PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which performs a rendition in a game by utilizing the patterns of variable pattern display parts. SOLUTION: The slot machine comprises the plurality of variable pattern display parts 4(1-9) which are vertically and horizontally aligned, and the patterns of the variable pattern display parts are independently changed. When the patterns are changed, display control is performed to continuously display only specified patterns in the variable pattern display parts. A prize is won when a prescribed combination is obtained in the patterns of the respective variable pattern display parts positioned on prescribed prize-winning lines L1-L5 when changing is stopped. For example, random number lottery is performed to decide propriety of prize-winning establishment in connection with the pattern change of the variable pattern display parts, and, then, the specified patterns are continuously displayed in the variable pattern display parts only when the lottery result is winning.
