<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology whereby a user can easily operate an apparatus connected to a home network. <P>SOLUTION: An interlocking information file storage section 306 stores a prescribed mode, a control object apparatus, and control contents in cross- reference with each other. An instruction section 308 receives a mode from a user and transmits a control signal to the control object apparatus in cross- reference with the mode.
