PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide two-component type developer for yellow by which uniform image density is obtained and which hardly causes a peripheral effect or fogging, is fit to high-speed development, and has excellent offset resistance, durability, and environmental stability, and to provide an image forming method and an image forming apparatus using the developer. SOLUTION: The two-component type developer consists of yellow color toner for developing an electrostatic latent image, which is principally composed of at least a colorant, a fluidity imparting agent, binding resin, and a charge control agent and whose colorant is a compound classified as pigment yellow 180, and carrier.
