摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly eliminate disturbance of a decoded video image due to a transmission error in a data communication terminal performing two-way communication. <P>SOLUTION: In the data communication apparatuses performing two-way communication, it is predicted that an important transmission error takes place at both the own terminal apparatus and the opposite terminal apparatus at the same time. In the case of detecting a transmission error, the own terminal apparatus receives a video frame generation request by an in-frame coding system according to a control protocol from the opposite terminal apparatus, and a video media coding section 5 generates a coded video stream 33 by applying the in-frame coding system to the coding operation of video media. Thus, a coded video stream 32 is transmitted earlier than the coded video stream 33 by a time t1, so that a video decode fault in the opposite terminal apparatus is early eliminated.
