<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcoat material suitably providing an overcoat layer having excellent abrasion resistance, suitability for heat-sensitive transfer, suitability for embossing processing, and gloss and brilliance of the surface, especially having excellent coatable properties on a card face in a coating process, hardly providing bad effects of a vaporized organic solvent to a human body, and hardly requiring a sucking installation, an explosion-proof installation or the like for preventing ignition, and to provide a card having an overcoat layer. <P>SOLUTION: The overcoat material forming the overcoat layer on the card face comprises a water-based emulsion coating material, especially containing an ultraviolet-curable aliphatic urethane acrylate as a main ingredient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
