PURPOSE: A device for supplying power source of a video display is provided to prevent harmonic wave from generating in operating standby power, thereby preventing erroneous operation of a video display. CONSTITUTION: A rectifier(303) rectifies inputted alternating current power. A harmonic interrupting unit(304) interrupts harmonic components of the rectified power. A smoothing unit(306) smooths the rectified power of which harmonic components are interrupted, into direct current power. A standby power supply unit(307) supplies the smoothed direct current power as standby power of an equipment. A main power supply unit(308) supplies the smoothed direct current power as main power of the equipment. A microcomputer(305) turns on and off operations of the harmonic interrupting unit according to a standby supply mode or main power supply mode.
