PURPOSE: A method, a system, and architectures for a security media path are provided to protect against an unauthorized access or a duplication of unprotected contents after the contents reaches a rendering device such as a user computer. CONSTITUTION: A client component receives the encrypted contents protected during a rendering process(350). The client component receives a manifest related to the contents(352). It is verified whether the client component is reliable(358). The client component generates a primary authenticator used for authenticating more than one downstream components(360). The downstream components to be authenticated are connected by using the primary authenticator(362). The downstream components are authenticated by using the primary authenticator(364). The second authenticator is generated if necessary(366). The downstream components to be authenticated are connected by using the second authenticator(370). The downstream components are authenticated by using the second authenticator(372).
